Welcome to Anam Beo, a non-profit organisation that serves as a collective for artistic skill sharing & social innovations, enhancing arts engagement for our communities.
Artists promote a place for arts and creative endeavours in nurturing safe environments & sustainable communities.
Adaptive projects & spaces for inclusion, voice & arts production, where arts practices are with, for and by the community.
We would like to thank Offaly County Council for its annual support and arts & health advocacy. Thank you for your support, the Community Foundation for Ireland RTE Comic Relief Fund with Dublin Mid Leinster HSE Services for Older People & the Bank of Ireland Back to Arts Fund supported by Business to Arts with The Irish Wheelchair Association. Thank you Creative Ireland, who enabled the Reconnect pilot projects ‘Conversations for YOUR Doorstep’, for people in community and care settings. Reconnect is in tandem with roundtable group arts sessions, with a focus on adapting arts projects for safer engagements, using a digital arts toolkit of iPads and creative apps, informed by participants and care staff.
Since 2005, Anam Beo sessions attendance to date has been 14,638, and have provided 1,891 arts, music and creative sessions for 2,346 repeat individuals and groups.
Generously living together.
Anam Beo aims to inspire, imagine and involve. To ensure visibility and challenge ageism.
