Generously living together.
We would like to thank Offaly County Council for its annual support and arts & health advocacy. Thank you for your support, the Community Foundation for Ireland RTE Comic Relief Fund with Dublin Mid Leinster HSE Services for Older People & the Bank of Ireland Back to Arts Fund supported by Business to Arts with The Irish Wheelchair Association. Thank you Creative Ireland, who enabled the Reconnect pilot projects ‘Conversations for YOUR Doorstep’, for people in community and care settings.
Reconnect is in tandem with roundtable group arts sessions, with a focus on adapting arts projects for safer engagements, using a digital arts toolkit of iPads and creative apps, informed by participants and care staff. As an artists’ collective Anam Beo look forward to the Pay and Conditions Guidelines for Arts in Health Projects by Réalta and Artist Health Coordinators Ireland. Anam Beo played a role in the development of these guidelines which value, the artist, a framework to work and the relationship between artists, care staff, and community members to ensure advocacy for arts and health and its art outcomes.
